For the last eleven years October 1st has signified the start of the Small Business BC Awards. The awards recognize the outstanding achievements to BC’s entrepreneurs and celebrate the contribution they make to both their local community and the global economy. The awards have a simple four-stage process, with rewards at every step.
Today is Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. So in celebration of the contribution of these entrepreneurs, we asked a few female business owners nominated for Small Business BC Awards what they think the key to success is, in small business.
For one week each year, entrepreneurship is collectively celebrated around the world. This year Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is November 17 – 23, 2014. It is the largest global celebration of the innovators and job creators, who launch start-ups that bring ideas to life and drive economic growth.
