Out-Smarts was founded in 2002 when Mhairi Petrovic (pronounced Vah-ree) saw an opportunity to offer an innovative and flexible approach to internet marketing for small and medium businesses in British Columbia.
Arnold Leung founded Appnovation in 2007 after graduating from UBC. Starting out as a web development company, he expanded the business to offer web and mobile applications. In 2010 Leung featured in Business in Vancouver’s Top Forty Under 40 list.
Straydog Marketing + Design began in 2008 when Rob Barnett and his partner Rachelle Hynes saw an opportunity to carve out a niche in the Vancouver market between the low-cost, low frills, design firms and the high-end, high cost design agencies.
