The Small Business BC Connection

Thanks to Small Business BC’s marketing and business seminars, Stacy has learned how to spend her business funds wisely.  She’s also learned how to get the most out of social media and advertising and how to best translate her ideas into smart business practices.

Entrepreneurial Advice

For other aspiring entrepreneurs, Stacy recommends developing a detailed business plan, which begins with thorough research.  Learning as much as you can about your industry and target market before going into business, can mean the difference between success and failure.

Having passion for your craft is a start, but you must ensure the community in which you start your business can support your vision.  Stacy also recommends asking questions and taking advice, which can include testing your product or service and soliciting feedback.

Aside from Small Business BC, Stacy has also found her local Community Futures office, Chamber of Commerce and public library valuable resources for her business development.
